Design Inspiration

Typography is communication in the form of art. Type exists in design to relay a message or provide information. There are many ways type is used in web design that go beyond the body copy. Many sites will use bold, highly legible fonts to create a call to action right as the user hits the page. This use of typography helps to paraphrase a website’s mission. It might be the company’s slogan or just a current promotion for a new product, but whatever the words may be, the presentation of them is always key. Below I’ve found just a few sites that I feel used typography in an effective, elegant way to draw in viewers.
